Nearly Losing a Toe in Africa

2 Nights at Malealea Lodge in Lesotho

The lodge offered both camping facilities and traditional Mud Hut accommodation. We opted to upgrade our camping to a Mud Hut (for 200 RAND pp/pn) since we had been told that it can get VERY cold at night. Lesotho is located about 1800m above sea level no it’s no surprise that it can get a bit chilly. It seems like we lucked out because we had two full days of sun when we were there (end of September time).
